Afforestation Workshop

May 25, 2017 @ 1:30 pm – 3:15 pm
Julie Adamson

Afforestation workshop is an opportunity to learn about the Richard St Barbe Baker Afforestation Area, the West Swale and the Legacy of Richard St. Barbe Baker.

As the trails and paths are uneven please wear adequate walking shoes. The activity takes place out of doors, there will be no workshop in heavy rain. This is a free event for families or classrooms.

“When the trees go, the rain goes, the climate deteriorates, the water table sinks, the land erodes and desert conditions soon appear~Richard St. Barbe Baker.”
