Water was vital in establishing our country, now celebrating its 150th. No better time to get out and learn more about a vital waterway flowing through our city. Join Meewasin’s senior nature interpreter Kenton Lysak and CanoeSki Company’s nationally certified canoeing instructor Cliff Speer on a short South Saskatchewan River paddling trek to explore local ecology and water issues on our doorstep.

Cost: $25 per person
Capacity limited to first 11 paddler entries. Children 12 & under accompanied by parent/guardian can ride free as centre passengers. All bow & stern paddlers will be considered as paying participants.
All canoeing and related safety equipment supplied. Canoes are tandem (2-person). Singles will be matched with another paddler to make up a compatible paddling team. If you are registering as a pre-formed paddling team, please assure that at least one person has the necessary skills to steer a canoe.
