Nature Conservancy of Canada’s Science Manager Mathew Braun will lead a tour around the Chappell Marsh Conservancy and discuss the functions and importance of wetlands in both rural and urban settings; examining how one wetland fits into a larger context and city development.

The Chappell Marsh is a 148-acre conservation area managed in partnership by Nature Conservancy of Canada and Ducks Unlimited. The area is dedicated to the restoration and conservation of prairie wetland habitat while serving as an outdoor classroom for public education on the value of wetlands.
